What Storo actually is
A multi tenant commerce platform behind a one line embed. Each merchant gets a catalog, cart, checkout, and order records in an isolated store, served from the edge so it is fast everywhere. Payments run through connected accounts with a platform fee on each sale.
- Embed: one script mounts the storefront into any page, with duplicate include guards and your brand palette.
- Dashboard: products, prices, orders, and payout status per merchant.
- Print on demand: import products, sync fulfillment, never hold inventory.
- Safety posture: prices resolve server side only, webhooks are signature verified and idempotent, secrets never touch a repo, endpoints are rate limited.
The wedge: every small organization that wants to sell a little merch has a website and no store. Shopify wants them to move in. Storo moves in with them.
How it runs
Today: dogfooded across our own brands and community sites, first outside shop live. Stripe and fulfillment integrations are key gated switches, dormant until each merchant's keys exist.
Next: self serve merchant onboarding: create a store, paste the snippet, connect payouts. Platform fee per sale plus a flat plan for high volume shops.
The details that matter
One merchant's data never mixes with another's. Every store is its own tenant with its own keys. The client never dictates a price, a total, or a permission; the server does.
